Looking at campaigns can give you a sense of the artist's thought process and an idea of who that person is as an artist. Campaigns are a great way to demonstrate how you can use different media to reach multiple audiences for the same product or event.
While campaigns are a great at giving you a "big picture" look into someone's workflow, sometimes you need more to be sure it is consistent. I have spent many years working in the design industry and have worked with a large variety of clients. Needless to say, making a poster for an upcoming action movie event is quite different than designing materials to advertise an afternoon tea.
